The Stromag Periflex® Shaft Coupling is a highly-flexible rubber/fabric coupling, particularly suitable for connection of two shafts in diesel engine and electric drives.

Due to the particularly designed shaft tyre, the Periflex® Shaft Coupling can overcome extreme offsets with low restoring forces, without noting any wear. As a standard, the rubber/fabric tyre is provided with a parting line in our works so that it can be mounted and dismantled radially without necessity to shift the connected machines.

The torque is transmitted absolutely backlash-free. The Periflex® Shaft Coupling is suitable to absorb torque peaks and to damp occurring vibrations.

The Periflex ® shaft couplings are suitable due to their design especially for the steel industry, for heavy-duty cranes and roller gear drives. Other applications include general engineering, construction, mining and paper machinery industries, and marine and plant engineering.

The Periflex® Shaft Coupling can be used in explosion-hazardous zones.
