MFK / MWU-B electromagnetically switchable pole face friction technology brakes have a very good space-torque ratio to ensure a play-free braking torque transmission. They are particularly suitable for the active, lash and energy-efficient holding and positioning drives. The MWU-B is available with protection class IP 67 for extensive use in off-shore applications and under other severe environmental conditions as in rolling mills and steel works and mining applications.
