KMB / KLB hydraulically released spring-applied brakes are used in fixed and mobile application environments in conjunction with hydraulic motors. 

Typical applications include transmissions, chassis and conveyor drives, hydraulic drives of all kinds, winches, lifting, turning and rotary actuators, construction equipment, airborne and mobile cranes etc.

Pneumatically released spring-applied variants, in conjunction with and without air motors are universal in engineering applications.

 Typical applications for such brakes would be paint shops, mining, fire-risk areas, conveyors and trolleys, handling equipment, printing machines, paper and plastics machines.
